Visual Studio-style auto-completion
Currently I have to press escape to show auto-completion options. This is a highly repetitive (and a problem as a sufferer of RSI) since I potentially want to auto-complete every word I type.
My suggestion is for the auto-completion list box to appear automatically whenever there is one or more possible completions after typing the first character of a word, as it is done in Visual Studio.

Agree with original comment but this should be an optional feature.
Maybe this is the wrong spot to ask this, but is there a way to define (like a bundle language) text to show up in the auto-complete (other than just words that are on the page)?

Recent versions of E allow ctrl+space to show the completions list, in addition to ESC.
Great idea, picking escape is a horrible key in the first place as it requires your hand to move, either auto-completing by default or using something like ctrl+space (like nearly all IDEs) would be awesome.
