Welcome to the E Text Editor ideas page. Do you have an idea? Do you recognize a good idea when you see one? We want to hear from you!

Suggest your idea ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

Can you be more specific? How would you like such a feature to behave, exactly? Project settings are already embedded into a .eprj file in the project root.

    • Clutterfree, zoomable history panel for undos/redos

The current implemenation of redo is pretty unusable most of the time, since the nodetree grows rampant fast.

I'm not even sure, if I really understood how it actually works. So, please... don't make me think about it, when redoing actions. ;)

Understood. I can get confusing at times. Once you really do understand how it works, though, it’s invaluable. It’s worth learning it. Try leaving the panel open docked to the side of the windows and play around with it to see how it grows and branches. This is how I learnt to deal with it.

This can be done, but it’s confusing as you have to open the search panel with “CTRL-SHIFT-F” instead of just “CTRL-F”. Thinking about a better UI for this…
