Linux Version
Many people have already suggested they would like a Linux version of E. Alexander has stated that it is something he would eventually like to do. Add your support and/or comments for the idea here.

Members of the e community have been hard at work on getting the Linux version up and running. And while it is still very much beta (perhaps even alpha) quality software, it is nonetheless extremely usable. You can find 32 and 64 bit binaries here:

While you wait for the Linux version of E, why not consider Vim in the meantime? Some people are even switching from TextMate to Vim:
